The Way Back: Let's Do The Time Warp Again!

Hey, y'all, my name is Kim and in the mid-80s I was introduced to the Rocky Horror Picture Show by my best friend. On my first visit there I got thrown up on the stage as the criminologist and I never looked back. I spent 10 years on the stage of the Rocky Horror Picture Show as your favorite maid Magenta. I met all the best people at that time in my life. We weren't just a cast, we were family. I spent my weekends at the "Rocky House" where we would party and rehearse. When I first got involved the Rocky Horror cast was based out of Military Circle Mall. Shortly after I started we moved to Lynnhaven Mall and became the back Alley cast. Two to three times a year we would feature as a Midnight movie at the Naro and that was game on!  We were at Newmarket North for a while, then the Naro picked it up and we became Fishnet Ink. Some of those people are still my favorites and it was definitely one of the best times of my life.
Some of the photos were provided by Andrew Doyle, who is still involved in Fishnet Inc. with the current cast. These days I continue to be a hairstylist - at a safe distance! - as I've done since 1986. I'm also working as a prep cook for Clean Eatz in Norfolk at Ward's Corner. Please enjoy this glimpse into cast life circa 1985-1988.
