The inaugural Dex Fest takes place June 12th - June 15th, 2025 and celebrates the life, music, and cultural legacy of influential rockabilly & roots musician Dexter Romweber.
Best remembered for his commanding presence in the bands Flat Duo Jets and Dex Romweber Duo, the festival embraces a punk rock ethos and strives to reflect Dex's prolific range of sound
through its lineup of artists spanning blues. garage, roots, and folk rock.
Join us for live shows, art installations, and colorful story exchanges from friends across four landmark venues in Chapel Hill and Carrboro, NC.
Presented in partnership with The Romweber Estate, Propeller Sound Recordings, Feel Free Records, Orange County Social Club, The Merch, Italian Pizzeria III, and Starpoint Brewing.
Show tickets for Thursday (Cat's Cradle) and Friday (Local 506) can be purchased online in advance or at the door on the day of show.
Tickets for Saturday at The Cave can be purchased at the door day of show.
